They will go where ever you want them to go. Buy what you like. If it is ok I might buy a half yard, if I like it a whole yard, if I really like it 2 yards. If I really like it and I might use it for a border I buy between 4-6 yards, depending on if it will be a lap size or a king size quilt. My stash has surpassed the two book shelf limit I put on myself, so I had better get sewing.Ann Marie @ 16 Muddy Feethttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18043510561974011878noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7219691809988138892.post-74935001509058703992011-11-06T12:55:19.995-05:002011-11-06T12:55:19.995-05:00I seem to flit from one thing to the next - once i...I seem to flit from one thing to the next - once it was florals, then plaids and not I am into solids. Your tips for building a stash were very informative. I usually only buy fat quarters simply because my quilts are scrappy and I don't like cutting into large pieces of fabric.Heartsdesirehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13046284753160269492noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7219691809988138892.post-3790158722562512342011-10-31T13:00:51.251-04:002011-10-31T13:00:51.251-04:00This was a great post.
