I'm out again this week - heading to Ottawa, IL - to lecture and do a workshop for Illinois Valley Quilt Guild. We're doing machine applique and I made a few new samples of the project. The block has a stem, curves and points - everything you need to learn basic machine applique. Makes up into a cute little pillow.

I used to live in Seneca, Illinois very near there... I wasn't a quilter then though...
ReplyDeleteI love machine applique...those look like great first patterns..
I refreshed my hand applique skills with this pattern in a class that you taught several years ago. It is such a sweet design. This design in the various colorways is wonderful. Gives the design so much more life. I would love to refresh my machine applique skill with such a class. Be safe on the road and happy shopping.
ReplyDeleteHave a super great day.
Cindy! I'm so glad to have discovered your blog, Thanks to Jodi.
ReplyDeleteI'm wondering the pillow/wall hanging tulip...I love it, could I somehow get the pattern??? Thanks!
