Christmas in July??

You really should start your Christmas sewing in July. What's wrong with me?? I don't even start it in November. I'm notorious for getting my ideas for Christmas giving right about now. Maybe it has to do with having a birthday in December. I never really want to get into the spirit until after the 14th!

So this week I'm starting some gifts. I worked on the Metro Link quilt this weekend. Do you think I can get it done by Christmas?
I also have some little projects to do ~ for some little girls...
And for some big girls...
Yes, it's December, I've got the holiday spirit!

    I'm thinking that Metro Link will be a show and tell this Saturday!! I made eight of Mary Claires composition notebook covers and gave them all out yesterday...so that's the end of my Christmas sewing...lol
    I have two grandkids with birthdays in December..one is the 14th and the other is the 24th!!

    Yes you can get it finished ! Go for it Cindy and it is well worth getting on with - unless you want to end up with a load of UFOs!

    The Metro Link quilt is looking great - I think you can get it finished but you might be stitching the binding down whilst Father Christmas does his rounds!

    I have no doubt that you will be successful in finishing all of your projects. They will be exquisite, with no detail left undone. FYI...I'm a December baby, too. December 25th!

    As a quilting teacher, I am always pushing the Christmas projects in July!!! But here I am ( just like you) finishing quilts and projects at the last minute. I have to giggle...we even have similar fabrics in our stash. Kindred spirits indeed.
