Hanging Around...

Like much of the midwest {maybe even the country?} I've been snowed in this week. Seemed like the perfect opportunity to go to my want-to-make-quilts list and have some fun.

I've been wanting to make another of this pattern from Simply Modern Christmas. I was a lucky girl and won some Charlie Harper fabric on Instagram from Westwood Acres before Christmas. The little cardinals were the perfect size to fussy cut and place randomly in my wreath made from Botanics.


I just love this little guy peeking out from the design!

    I have had this quilt in the back of my mind since seeing it in Simply Modern Christmas (which I love, BTW). Throwing in those Charlie Harper cardinals is just perfect - inspired & inspiring!

    Ok. Super cute! I don't buy novelty fabric because I don't know how to use them, but this us great with the birds

    Very cute! I bought your book (love it!) intending to make the tree skirt, but when I saw the wreath, it had to be first. Mine is in scrappy greens.
