I like the definition: achieved with admirable ease
Does it mean I'm not going to try anything difficult or new? On the contrary. I have some challenging new and exciting plans for 2012!
It's more about an attitude. A knowing that whatever comes my way can be handled with ease.
And allowing the creativity to flow instead of forcing it.
And letting go of perfectionism, knowing the best of what we are is more than enough.
And appreciating what is right in front of me
And slowing down to... well, you know...
Here's to a fabulous 2012! Thank you for going along for this ride with me. I truly appreciate you coming to my corner of the internet.

ReplyDeleteOf course I'm following along--that's how I get MY inspiration!
ReplyDeleteYou go and we'll follow! In fact, a friend just made a quilt based on one of your designs that I suggested. When she finishes the behemoth, I'll let you know!♥
Ooh, I let go of perfectionism a long time ago!

ReplyDeleteI have enjoyed following your blog this past year and look forward to more creative, colorful inspiration in 2012!
ReplyDeleteMakes sense to me! I have a friend who gives herself a new "name" each year, to go along with her "word". What would yours be, I wonder? I'm so glad that I found your inspiring blog! Happy New Year, Cindy.
ReplyDeleteFabulous post and I love your choice of word for 2012!
ReplyDeleteLove this post. Okay if I adopt your approach to 2012 as well? ;-)
ReplyDeleteI really like your word! And I, along with Dee, MUST know where you got your bowls! I can't wait to see what you have in store for this year, hopefully as much fabulousness as you brought us in 2011!
ReplyDeleteGreat post, Cindy! I could use a little "effortless" myself.
