LOVE mini quilt

I have to admit my sewing got a little side-tracked this past weekend. For some reason I had to try the "LOVE" mini posted at Sew, Mama, Sew. I made a few changes - each letter is made form the same fabric. I also added a 1/2" strip between the letters and a 1" strip as a border. And I really wanted to experiment with the quilting. I did tons of straight{ish} lines, echoing the letters and I think it turned out pretty cute.
Now I'm ready for Valentine's Day!

  1. It came out so cute! Thanks for trying out my pattern!

  2. This is so stinkin' cute! The fabric choices make it special. Great scale and color combo. Now I want to make one too.

  3. Wow, Cindy, I LOVE it! Great job. I printed this also, hoping to do it. What a the fini. dimensions of yours?

  4. I think that you're right - it is pretty darn cute! Love your quilting too!

  5. Really cute. I may have to check out that pattern. Love the quilting too!

  6. Very cute. I like it with one fabric for each letter!

  7. Dear Cindy,
i could not locate your email so herewith please be informed that I have given you a Versatile Blogger Award on my blog http://kvintaquilts.blogspot.com/.

They request you to do the same for 15 other blogs, but I know you are a busy person and I honestly do not mind if you do not want to pass the award on. It reminds me terribly of chain letters :)
Just look at it as me congratulating you on a very nice blog and spreading the word a little!

    Have a nice day
    Ann from Denmark

  8. You continue to amaze and inspire me!

Thanks so much for taking time to comment!
