You've seen this one before. It's my Sunburst quilt published in McCall's Quilting last year. You probably didn't know that I recently redecorated my dining room around the quilt. Do you ever do that? The walls became a nice gray that really show off the quilt!
I even found some fun accessories in the same colors.
The pattern has recently been republished in this book, Best Wall Quilts.
There it is! With all the directions just in case you want to make one too!
There are several other awesome patterns. I love this modern version of a Baltimore Album block!
And isn't this adorable?
Wall quilts are such a great way to decorate your home! Make a quilt and then decorate the room around it. Perfect inspiration! . . . Cindy
Congratulations, Cindy! The wall hanging is a showstopper!!
ReplyDeleteI never get tired of gazing at your creations. Spectacular!
ReplyDeleteLove your color scheme! What a wonderful quilt!
ReplyDeleteWhat a gorgeous quilt! It's good to know I am not the only one who redecorates around a quilt!
ReplyDeleteI live your sunburst quilts! As a long-time fan of the lone star pattern, I feel like this is the heart or best part.
ReplyDeleteI'm a fumble fingers. Love!
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely love how the whole room came out. The grey walls really show off the beautiful quilt colors and I like how you used very simple accent pieces that kept the color range tight. I have been auditioning various grey paints for my bathrooms (to start). What paint did you use? It looks like a very nice middle of the road grey. The soft pink/coral pottery really goes well with the paint. It must be nice to have a whole room to showcase a particularly stunning quilt.
ReplyDeleteI clipped this pattern for my "gottado" file. Very pretty quilt. Thanks for the quilt and the decorating ideas:).
ReplyDeleteHi Cindy - I did purchase my book so that I can make the quilt. Thanks for letting me know about it at the Round Bobbin Expo. Now, I need to pick some fabric...
ReplyDeleteBeautiful quilt pattern Cindy! Isn't it always a thrill to see your gorgeous projects in print? You always do amazing work!
