I fell hard for the Moda line Tucker Prairie when I first saw it last Spring in Market photos. It's designed by 1canoe2 and I've been a fan of their art since first discovering it. I was able to get a fat eighth bundle from Westwood Acres (I think it actually releases soon!) and the minute it arrived I knew I was going to make this quilt with it.
I've made this pattern before and gave the first one away. It's been one of my favorites and was a freebie on the Moda website a few years ago.
You can find the free pattern here: Panache Quilt Pattern
I think the pattern really showcases the fabric nicely. The white is my go-to Moda Bella 97 and the gray is a new print from Zen Chic called Modern Backgrounds. I was lucky that my local quilt shop is carrying some awesome modern fabrics and didn't have to wait for it to arrive in the mail!
Now to figure out some quilting. I have a big gray and white check that I'm thinking of putting on the back. Can't wait to finish this one up!
Would love a copy of the pattern. A two block quilt with striking results. Thanks.

ReplyDeleteI would love a copy of this pattern. It really shows off the fabric collection.
ReplyDeleteSome directions for the pattern would be great - I can see this pattern in so many fabric lines - I'm particularly liking Wonderland by Katarina Roccella ... if only someone in the UK stocked it!! Thanks
ReplyDeleteThis is a beautiful quilt! I'm a sucker for a white background, and that gray Zen Chic is a super accent fabric. Nice that you could buy from your local quilt shop. We no longer have a local shop here in Central Florida, unless you call 30 miles away "local," and even then, that shop is traditional. I'm so grateful for on-line shops.
ReplyDeleteLove the color coordination of the background with the blocks - this one is on my bucket list ;}
ReplyDeleteLOVE! this quilt, would really like to know how to do it...I'm surprised that something on Moda would be gone.

ReplyDeleteThis is quite stunning. What a shame Moda took the directions off their website! If it's no trouble, I'd love the instructions. Thank you. I'm a new follower and I've been scrolling through your archived posts when I take breaks from making my Outlined Plus blocks today. I have been uninspired for a couple of months, but this block has me sewing again! Such fun!
ReplyDeleteIt's a really lovely quilt and I love the pattern. I would appreciate if you would share the pattern instructions with me!
ReplyDeleteI too would love the pattern above. I follow Moda pretty closely but missed this one and think it's a great way to use up those scraps that are too big to get rid off. I love your gray for the "background". Thank you for your kindness
ReplyDeleteAdd me to the list of people wanting directions for this!
