"I get by with a little help from my friends" ~ one of my favorite Beatles songs and so true! Yesterday four friends came by to help with a big project I'm working on. As a Thank-You, I made them each a palette pincushion.
They didn't expect anything and were pleasantly surprised! (Don't I have cute friends?)
And here's the result of a day of sewing, cutting and pressing.

ReplyDeleteIn your other post about this cutie pincushion you mentioned hot glue. Is that to glue the little balls into the cups? Do they stay stuck to that shiny, non-textured surface or eventually come loose? Have you had any feedback on that? Seems like when I have used hot glue on something non-porous, sometimes it comes loose (ie. covered button thumb tacks). Thanks, Nancy
