Tree Appliqué

My tree is embroidered, quilted and framed!

I followed the pattern exactly, free-motion stitching several times around each appliqué piece.
The skinny branches are hand embroidered ~ oh how I enjoyed doing the embroidery

The pattern gives a design for the quilting and I followed that too ~ no need to mess with perfection.

Framed and hanging on the wall ~ why do these little projects make me so happy?

  9. I am trying to obtain a pattern for the tree in the Memories Quilt by "Don't Look Now". I would like to incorporate it into a memory quilt for family reunions. Where can I obtain a copy of the pattern?

  13. A quilt in a frame? Brilliant! I'm adding you to my inspiration board. A close friend is looking for a tree with leaf appliqué quilt, lap size, with leaves made of her son's baby clothes! Thanks for inspiring parts of it :)
