Bella

A finished quilt! Using Bella by Lotta Jansdotter and the block pattern from Alissa Haight Carlson for Sew Mama Sew.

I really wanted a design with lots of white, kind of repeating that Scandinavian feel of the fabric.

I came up with a simple design for the back.

And I have to say, I think I like it as much as the front!

I kept the quilting simple (and easy) with straight lines using white thread.

  7. I REALLY love this! I like how the whites in the bella blend with the white background to give an entirely different look than when I've seen this design done in solids. Great job.

  10. This quilt has a great simple graphic design & crisp color. Sometimes "simple" makes a bigger statement than busy/complex. I love how each little strip of color is important and stands out. This pattern is going on my wish list. Beautiful finish once again.
