Red Letter Day ~ a new Thimbleblossoms pattern ~ super quick and fun one too! I'll let the pictures do the talking today :-)
I'm happy with the quilting too! I did a big "X" through the center of the quilt in both directions, then echoing straight lines, creating a "V" in each quadrant.
Backing and binding coordinate nicely with the front...
Making it a Red Letter Day!
This is gorgeous! I love this pattern, and I love your choice of quilting.
ReplyDeleteLove it, Cindy! At guild meeting last month someone brought an antique top using that pattern. I commented to them that the quilt looked so "modern" because of the blown up size of the blocks!! LOL
ReplyDeleteVery very pretty!
ReplyDeleteWow, Cindy, excellent work! I love that quilt.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful quilt!! I especially love the quilting on it :)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful finish.
ReplyDeleteFresh, pretty and lots of fun! Quilting the "X" was an inspired choice - just works so perfectly on this quilt! I saw on Camille's blog that she did a Red Letter Day workshop on her trip to Australia - some great shots of more than 40 of these blocks!
ReplyDeleteLove the fabrics you have used on these blocks. I have one block to go to finish mine. I really like the quilting on yours too.
ReplyDeleteI love everything about this quilt...pattern, fabric selection, quilting...perfection!! What is the fabric that you used on the back? I'd gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteVery pretty! And I love the way you quilted it.
ReplyDeleteVery pretty fabrics and colours. I love how you've quilted it too.
ReplyDeleteSo beautiful - love your quilting too!
ReplyDeleteYou're such a fast quilter! It's taken me all weekend to decide if I want to start a single Irish Chain or Red Letter Day. And you've started and finished 3 or 4 already. Maybe someday ... Your quilts are beautiful!
