A finished quilt! Using Bella by Lotta Jansdotter and the block pattern from Alissa Haight Carlson for Sew Mama Sew.
I really wanted a design with lots of white, kind of repeating that Scandinavian feel of the fabric.
I came up with a simple design for the back.
And I have to say, I think I like it as much as the front!
I kept the quilting simple (and easy) with straight lines using white thread.

This looks fabulous!
ReplyDeleteI think this is my favorite use of Bella I have seen yet! Highlights the wonderful fabric without becoming overwhelming. Perfection!
ReplyDeleteI really like that a lot!
ReplyDeleteOoh oh...gorgeous! You inspire me to get some of that fabric now!! Love the quilt!
ReplyDeleteVery Very very Awesome quilt!
ReplyDeleteWhen do you do it all?
Love it! You just made me move that pattern closer to the top of my list!
ReplyDeleteI love this! I don't think I had even given that block a second look. But seeing it done this way has totally put it on my to-do list! this is fantastic.
ReplyDeleteSo gorgeous! I love how it showcases the fabrics.
ReplyDeleteI REALLY love this! I like how the whites in the bella blend with the white background to give an entirely different look than when I've seen this design done in solids. Great job.
ReplyDeleteHi Cindy,
ReplyDeleteYour quilt is so beautiful , I love ,love it. The quilting is even better what a great quilt to use your Bella fabric with. WOW !!!
Peace, Jean
Oh how I love this and not just with the Bella fabric. That's a great idea for favorite (and less than favorite) scraps too!
ReplyDeleteThis quilt has a great simple graphic design & crisp color. Sometimes "simple" makes a bigger statement than busy/complex. I love how each little strip of color is important and stands out. This pattern is going on my wish list. Beautiful finish once again.
ReplyDeletePure, classic, crisp...simply lovely to look at, Cindy.
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh, Cindy, I love this!!! What a perfect use of Bella :)
